Visiting in Indiana

Over Labor Day weekend we went down to Indiana to see Adam and Mimi. We went to Lake Michigan on Monday and just had a really relaxing time. The kids had great fun playing together!

Adam the barber - Matt decided that he wanted a buzz cut...attractive, right? They call him "the great white hope." Can you see why? That belly hasn't seen sun since 2004 when we took our honeymoon, seriously.

Catching UP

Madelynn hid our cable that links the camera to the computer, so I haven't been able to upload pictures for a while...that is until today my Dad suggested that I just plug the memory card into the computer. Duh! I don't know what I was thinking! Anyway - not much to report...just getting into the business of a new school year and trying to adjust to being back to work. It seems much harder this year than it did last year. I think its because I miss so much of her day...I don't get to see her until like 5:00 at night and by then she's tired and hungry and counting down to bed time. We just cherish our weekends!! Right now her favorite thing to do is play on our bed. She tells us "night night" and pretends to snore on the pillows. Its too precious! More to come soon from our weekend!

Oh yes - you're really seeing this. She wears the towel as her cape. One day she wore it all over the house for everything she did...Its pretty scary considering what we know of her father!

Happy Birthday to Grandma!

Last weekend we celebrated my Mom's birthday. We had a cook-out at our house with the fam. Good times! Mom got some cool new stuff to hang in her sun room.
