If you love me, send up a prayer of thanks!!

For those of you who haven't heard the story yet...I was in a pretty nasty car crash on Monday. Driving home from work and the roads were pretty good..I was in a right lane and the lane ended, so I was merging over. It all happened so fast, but I was fishtailing a little from the slush on the roads, then all of the sudden I started to spin out. I thought I was going to do a 360 & then be ok, but I went over into the other lane of traffic and I think it was dry or something because it felt like my wheels just caught and I shot out up and over the curb and down into what can only be described as a ravine full of trees...scariest moment of my life. Its hard to tell from the photos just how steep it was, but the line of trees there should give you some indication. God wrapped his hands around my car, that's the only explanation...because I don't have a scratch on me. I am very sore from the waist up, but other than that just grateful to see my beautiful girl again. She's all I could think about as those trees came at me! I closed my eyes, screamed, and prayed all at once while I thought about her. Praise God - I'm still here and I love you all - and kiss your babies every day if you have them :) (Husbands too!!!) As for my Envoy - its happy trails. I said to Matt that I will never drive another kind of car again - come out without a scratch after crashing into a forrest and you've got me sold!!

Getting new toys is THE BEST!

Madelynn has been spending lots of time getting to know her new toys. She loves them all...but she could play with her doggy or her exer-saucer for hours!!! The girl loves to bounce and loves anything that makes music.
