Madelynn's first Halloween!! She was a chubby little penguin, and a very adorable one at that. We made a few stops to show off her cute-ness...Great Grandma Girrbach's and Aunt Becky's were happy visits, but Grandma Girrbach was a grouchy stop and Aunt Danielle's was zonked out...oh well, that's the life of a five month old!!

First thing Saturday morning Uncle Chew played outside in his jammies with Rylee Jean. He showed her how fun it is to write on everything (including herself) with wet sidewalk chalk. Way to go Chew.

This past weekend Matt finally had some time off from work, so we went down to Indiana for a short visit. Had a great time playing with all the babies together. We had a lot of fun at the zoo in Valpo on Saturday afternoon...it was very hot for an October day...we needed our bathing suits to cool down at the beach afterwards! We had an awesome time...thanks for having us Adam and Mimi :)

Mmmmm...cereal!

Madelynn had her first bites of baby cereal on Tuesday. It took a couple of tries to get any to go down, but she smiled every time we put it in her mouth. She loves it now - she gets all excited and tries to shove the spoon in her mouth.

Madelynn had her 4 month checkup yesterday...I know, she's 4 months already, can you believe it??!! I keep telling her to stop it but she's not cooperating. Well, she's healthy that's for sure! 17lbs 11oz and 26 1/2in long. We are starting cereal and fruits - I am so excited!! Cereal this week for starters...tonight will be the first night when daddy gets home from work. I'm sure I'll have some photos to share of that!
